Bowling for Rebuilding Lives Strikes a Perfect 300
Written by: Jill Williams, Indiana Apartment Association
IAA’s Bowling for Rebuilding Lives event on Tuesday, Feb. 10, proved once again that when the multifamily industry comes together, the impact is powerful. It’s also a whole lot of fun. The event sold out well in advance, welcoming more than 650 attendees from 25 management companies. Every bowling lane was filled, creating an electric atmosphere from the first roll to the final frame.
Participants fully embraced this year’s ‘50s Sock Hop & Bowl theme, transforming the bowling alley into a rock n roll throwback. From poodle skirts and leather jackets to jukebox inspired décor, teams went all out decorating their lanes and showing off their retro flair. The creativity and energy made for a night that was as visually impressive as it was meaningful.
The event raised $36,722 to benefit Rebuilding Lives, and thanks to the generous sponsorships of 36 supplier companies, 100% of the funds raised go directly toward providing assistance to residents who have been affected by natural disasters. In addition to financial support, attendees also donated over 100 items to benefit the Ronald McDonald House, extending the spirit of generosity beyond the bowling lanes.
• Highest Team Score: Sheehan Property Management
• Most Strikes: Braden Hainen, The Sherwin-Williams Company
• Best Dressed Team: Becovic Management Group
• Best Decorated Lane: Samaritan Companies
• Best Team Spirit: J.C. Hart Company
• Half & Half Drawing Winner: Graceson Walker, Sheehan Property Management
Bowling for Rebuilding Lives continues to be a beloved IAA tradition, not just for its sold out crowds and striking visuals, but for its tangible impact in the community. Thank you to all attendees for making this year’s event an unforgettable afternoon in support of an important cause.
