Anthony Gorup Education Foundation

Named after IAA's Executive Director from 1973 to 1999, the Anthony G. Gorup Education Foundation is a public benefit corporation operated exclusively to promote the future of the Indiana apartment industry through education and contribution. The foundation supports and funds scholarships and fellowships to further the education of individuals interested in any facet of the apartment industry, while also educating the general public and the industry about economic and business opportunities and issues that impact its future. Since 2001, the Indiana Apartment Association has hosted annual fundraisers and several education programs each year for the foundation.
The 2026 Thomas A. Spencer Certified Apartment Manager (CAM) Scholarship application is now open. The Anthony G. Gorup Education Foundation offers this scholarship each year to support a multifamily professional seeking to advance their career. The CAM course, developed by the National Apartment Association Education Institute, provides on-site managers with essential skills in occupancy management, employment law, financial management, marketing, and risk management.
