Retention Reinvention
We've all seen the spatula and pancake mix with that cutesy note that says, "We flippin' love you!"and while a small gesture and friendly note can definitely earn you some brownie points, it takes a lot more than that to retain today's resident. In this interactive session, Katie takes a fresh look at creating a successful resident retention plan with an easy to follow guide. After challenging attendees to re-think resident retention, she facilitates an interactive brainstorming session where every attendee will leave with complete access to the ideas we share.

A multifamily maven who began her career in residential property management, as a Leasing Professional, 23 years ago, Katie Rigsby, CAPS, CAM, CALP has worked onsite and in the trenches alongside her teams as a Property Manager, multi-site supervisor, educator/trainer, marketing director and as a senior executive with complete fiscal responsibility of a multimillion-dollar budget, 200 employees, and a real estate portfolio consisting of several thousand apartment homes, hotels, and shopping centers.
Katie has obtained the Certified Apartment Portfolio Supervisor, the Certified Apartment Manager, and the Certified Apartment Leasing Professional credentials from the National Apartment Association where she is currently a member in good standing and serves on the NAAEI faculty as an Advanced Facilitator.
Currently, the President and CEO of Katie Rigsby Inspires, LLC, she provides multifamily consulting services and education to help property management professionals improve their customer service skills, sales techniques, marketing strategies, productivity, leadership competencies, and Fair Housing compliance.
