Congratulations to the Maintenance Mania team from Van Rooy Properties

Herb Harr from Van Rooy Properties was the overall winner of the Seventh Annual Maintenance Mania competition,which was held at the State Fairgrounds. Enrique Alarcon won second place, while Brian Niehaus placed third. They both also work for Van Rooy Properties. All three have qualified to compete at the National Apartment Association Maintenance Mania event in June in San Diego.

The Official 2013 Maintenance Mania Games

How it Works: Attendees compete in Seven Skilled-based Timed Events and a Racecar Competition. The Maintenance Mania competition consists of eight timed events in which an individual competes. For each competition, there are seven skill-based competitive events and a racecar competition is the eighth event in which the participant makes a pinewood derby car out of maintenance materials. What Happens Next: The two top individuals from each region will be eligible to go to the National Apartment Association Annual Conference in San Diego, June 20-22, 2013, to compete among the best in the country. Hotel, Airfare and NAA Convention Registration are all paid for by the National Apartment Association plus prizes equaling over $7,000!
