The Indiana Apartment Association proudly hosts the annual Midwest Multifamily Conference held at the Indiana Convention Center. This multifamily conference and trade show is the largest of its kind in the Midwest with more than 1,500 attendees.
Each year the Indiana Apartment Association holds a golf outing with all proceeds going to the Indiana Multi Housing Political Action Committee, the legislative arm of the organization. Watch for details on the next Chili Cookoff in the fall of 2015. The event provides members with a fun opportunity for networking while enjoying great chili and some friendly competition.

The quarterly New Member Orientation is for all new members, new employees and those who want to become more involved in the Indiana Apartment Association. IAA will host this event four times a year to accommodate all new members.
Each year, in conjunction with the National Apartment Association, IAA sponsors Maintenance Mania. This competition pits maintenance crews from different management companies against each other in timed events. Prior to Maintenance Mania, the Maintenance Mania kickoff is an opportunity for all maintenance technicians to try their hand at the skill-based games that are part of the State and National Maintenance Mania competition
The Power Lunch features a speaker focusing on information affecting the multifamily housing industry and gives IAA Members specific time dedicated to networking.
The Bowling Challenge is a great opportunity to network with industry professionals while supporting a philanthropic goal. Several dozen teams will be competing with special prizes for the year's theme with best decorated lane, individual highest and lowest series, and always fun surprises. Rebuilding Lives was founded in 2009, after a year of severe weather throughout Indiana brought devastation to our management companies, our apartment communities and our residents. The Indiana Apartment Association decided to focus its philanthropic efforts on raising funds to assist our industry in times of need. Rebuilding Lives is the foundation for IAA's philanthropic focus.
Leadership is an important component to membership in IAA. SAL encourages individuals to reach higher levels of leadership by helping them gain the life skills, knowledge and confidence needed to achieve their professional and personal goals.
The SAL Cornhole Tournament is a fun networking event which entails over 70 two man teams competing on 15 cornhole sets for the bragging rights of cornhole champions. All of the proceeds raised from this event benefit the Sally Lentz-Crouse Leadership Training for future male and female leaders in the multifamily industry.
IAA could not provide these fun and informative events for members if not for the generosity of our members. We have several ways for you to sponsor an event. During the event, each sponsor has an opportunity to meet members face-to-face, and is also given a few minutes to discuss their service or products.

The Young Professionals in Multifamily (YPM) group was created to encourage the 21-40 age group to become more active by attending classes, events and joining committees. The after-hours events for YPM are a great opportunity to meet other future leaders in the industry, and share successes and challenges faced on the frontlines of multifamily.
YPM combines fun, education and networking. Each event is a chance to meet new people with whom you can attend future IAA events!
